Penn State football vs. Michigan game time, TV channel, odds, streaming & more

Staff Report
York Dispatch

The Penn State football team has a monumental clash with Michigan on Saturday afternoon in State College.

The Nittany Lions, ranked No. 10 in the College Football Playoff rankings, need a win to remain in the Big Ten and national championship chase. The No. 3-ranked Wolverines have dominated a soft schedule but have key matchups with Penn State and No. 1 Ohio State in the next three weekends to close the regular season.

Michigan will not have head coach Jim Harbaugh on the sidelines for the game, as the Big Ten barred Harbaugh from gameday coaching for the rest of the regular season Friday afternoon. He will still be allowed to coach the Wolverines during the week. Harbaugh also served a four-game suspension at the start of the season following a separate NCAA investigation.

Penn State coach James Franklin is 3-6 against Michigan with the Nittany Lions, and he's struggled to beat top-five teams and get the program over the hump and into the national title picture. After a 20-12 loss to Ohio State in October, this result will likely define Penn State's season.
